A Land Agent Licence issued by SA Consumer and Business Services (CBS) will allow you to work as a licensed land agent in a sales, leasing, business broking or stock and station role. You may run your own agency and hire sales representatives and property managers to work under your supervision.

This course is appropriate for property managers wanting to upgrade to a Land Agent Licence.

Successful completion of this course (statement of attainment and CPP51122 Diploma of Property [Agency Management]) meets the educational requirements needed for application as a property manager to SA CBS for a Land Agent Licence.

A formal statement of attainment, diploma qualification and transcript of results is issued to students upon successful course completion.

14. CPPREP5003 Manage ethical practice in the property industry
15. CPPREP5004 Manage a safe workplace in the property industry

There are no entry requirements for enrolling in this course.

To apply for a licence with the SA government, all applicants must:

• be at least 18 years old;
• provide CBS with proof they have completed the relevant qualifications or that they are enrolled and working towards a relevant qualification (this enables trainee registration) ;
• have a police clearance no more than 12 months old;

Assessment by the College is competency-based. Competence implies that an individual demonstrates an understanding of the knowledge that is the basis of the practical task being carried out (i.e. having the required skills to carry out a specific role).

Student assignments are assessed based on whether or not the student has achieved the performance criteria for each element specified in the unit/s of competency they are undertaking (put simply, if you meet all of the learning criteria for a particular unit, you are competent in that unit). This method of assessment judges performance against a prescribed standard, not against other students. Students are assessed as 'Competent' or 'Not Yet Competent'.

Assignment submissions are assessed within five business days of submission. If your assessor grades your work as ‘Not Yet Competent’, they will provide feedback on what else they need you to address in your assignment before they can assess you as ‘Competent’. The best part? We don’t charge any resubmission fees for assessing, so you can resubmit as many times as you need to before being graded as ‘Competent’.
