NSW Class 1 and Class 2 licensees can now complete their training with us online!

28 September 2023

NSW agents, good news: in addition to the face-to-face classes offered by The College, we are glad to announce that we now offer an online CPD option!

About online CPD delivery for the 2023/2024 CPD year and onwards

If you are unable to attend one of our face-to-face classroom delivery sessions, you may complete your CPD online. This requires the completion of a minimum of 10 hours of training. The training must include at least three compulsory topics relevant to your licence category plus your choice of elective courses to make up a total of 10 hours.

Compulsory topics relevant to more than one category of licence, for example, ‘Supervision Guidelines’, only need to be completed once.

CPD topics available

  • Real Estate only ($199): Disclosures and Underquoting, Contracts for Sale of Land, Supervision Guidelines, Elective topics.

  • Stock and Station only ($199): Mandatory Implementation Plan Electronic ID of Sheep and Goats, Animal Welfare Best Practice, Supervision Guidelines, Elective topics.

  • Dual Real Estate and Stock and Station ($245): Disclosures and Underquoting, Contracts for Sale of Land, Supervision Guidelines, Mandatory Implementation Plan Electronic ID of Sheep and Goats, Animal Welfare Best Practice, Elective topics.

What about assistant agent CPD?

CPD for assistant agents remains the same as in previous years, requiring assistant agents to complete at least three units from the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice each year. This training continues to be provided via online learning.

CPD for dual licence holders

Agents with more than one licence category (e.g., licensed for both real estate and stock and station) must complete four hours of CPD training, with at least three compulsory topics applicable to one licence. Licensees must then complete at least three topics from their second licence (and third if all three licences are held). Some topics in common across all licence types, for example, ‘Supervision Guidelines’, are carried over to all licences and are only required to be completed once.

Which CPD applies to me?

If you are unsure which licence category you fall under, you can search for your licence on the Service NSW Public Register.
